Originally from Sweden, Helena Kastensson moved to London in 2006 to study Illustration at Central St Martins.
Alongside her studies, Helena immersed herself in the legendary and fashion focused London club scene of the late 2000s. It came naturally to transfer her illustration skills onto skin, using unconventional materials to experiment on herself and her friends with increasing ambition and flair.
This affirmed her passion for makeup and in 2008 she enrolled in the Glauca Rossi School of Makeup.
Since then, Helena has worked as a freelance makeup artist with a reputation for her clean aesthetic and emphasis on skin. She has worked backstage at New York, London, Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks and was the Lead International Makeup Artist for NARS cosmetics for several years.
She lives in East London and travels for work internationally.
